Star #4985 - SOLD
A classic Star in excellent conditon. Built in 1965 by Skip Etchells of the Old Greenwich Boat Co. It's like a new fibreglass boat on the outside, natural cedar and mahogany inside.
One of the fastest wooden stars, with an extensive race record and colourful history. Still very competitive to this day. Well equipped, aluminum spars, lever vang, self-tacking jib, Quantum sails, covers, etc.
Ready to sail. Perfect for the Star class centennial classic boat events. Available with either a galvanized back-towing trailer or a front-towing Harbeck.
My time is fully taken with another classic Star restoration; so, this boat should be in the hands of someone who will sail it and appreciate it.
Price is negotiable.

Star #6436 - SOLD
Built by Gerrard (as is the sister-ship pictured. In great condition - complete and ready to race. The sails are updated from other boats and are very suitable for club racing. The trailer is landed in Canada (as is the boat), and is a galvanized, rear towing type with new bearings and good tires.
I think this would make an excellent choice for anyone interested in getting into the class and participating in club racing.
