Our Spirit

QCYC is a not-for-profit community of sailors and friends located on parkland on Algonquin Island in the Toronto harbour - just minutes from downtown. Our boats are moored in a sheltered lagoon with a gorgeous view of the Toronto skyline.

Celebrating its 124th anniversary this year, QCYC is one of Toronto’s oldest sailing clubs. Our beautiful clubhouse includes a restaurant, bar and Great Hall – home to our popular dances, concerts and dinners. We offer a full program of club cruises, club and inter club racing. Popular summer camp sailing lessons for children and adult keelboat lessons are open to members and non-members.
